TRANSMISSION LINE CONSTRUCTION

Barnett Southern Energy Services focuses on high voltage (69kV-230kV) transmission line construction. With the support of Barnett Southern’s civil construction and marine divisions, we are able to fully self-perform projects involving clearing, matting and access, and barge work.
MISSION
The mission of the Barnett Southern Energy Services Division is to serve electrical utilities in the south and mid-west, their customers, our employees, and our owners by building high-voltage (69kV-230kV) transmission lines safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all technical and environmental and schedule requirements.
VISION
Our vision is to be the first-choice contractor for utilities needing the services we provide and for people who want to work in this industry.
THE 5 CORE VALUES OF THE BARNETT SOUTHERN TRANSMISSION LINE DIVISION:
-
Do the right thing all the time -- Fairness and honesty are non-negotiable and are essential to attracting quality customers and employees.
-
Safety comes first -- If we master the task safely, productivity will follow.
-
Do things right the first time -- We have the time to do things correctly. Having to correct errors costs us in time, money, and reputation.
-
Superior service produces profit -- The long-term financial health of our company will always depend on how we serve our customers, the public, and our fellow employees.
-
Proper planning produces punctuality -- On-time completion is a result of good advance planning and allocating the right resources, not "cutting corners."
